At the February 9th meeting of the Shawnee Township Trustees, the fire department had the honor of presenting the Lifesaver Award to Kylee Morrisey. While on her way to work, Kylee noticed flames coming from the garage of a home. She didn’t hesitate—Kylee acted quickly to alert and awaken the occupants inside. Her fast thinking and decisive action gave them the chance to escape safely and truly saved lives. We’re incredibly proud to recognize Kylee for stepping up in a critical moment.
Fire Safety Reminder: Working smoke alarms and quick action save lives. If you see something that doesn’t look right, trust your instincts and act—your actions could make all the difference. Way to go, Kylee!
